Our 5th Grade GATAS students collobrated with SCETV, Mr. Chris Thomas, the Director of the Mays Historical Site, and our retired educator, Mrs. Anne Marie Glawe to help create a virtual field trip of the Historical Site. This website will give people the opportunity to view the humble upbringing of one of our most notable Greenwood Heroes Dr. Benjamin Elijiah Mays!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hope Simpson our 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Simpson is a hands on Art educator who integrates core subjects into her art lessons. Students are immersed in various art projects throughout the year. Mrs. Simpson is a Rock Star Educator who loves helping students tap into their hidden potential. We are so thankful to have Mrs. Simpson at Mays!
