Late this afternoon, it was reported that an individual at Mays Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19. School administration notified individuals who may have come in close contact with the positive case and 14 individuals at the school were quarantined. The individuals included teachers, administrators, and staff members. No students were determined to be close contacts. The school will operate on a normal schedule on Friday, October 23rd.
Staff members and parents were notified earlier this evening regarding this situation.
